How You Can Help

You can make a meaningful difference in the life of a child entering foster care by donating new or gently used duffle bags, suitcases, or backpacks. Every donation helps replace a trash bag with something that carries dignity and hope.

f you’d like to contribute, you can drop off donations at our office, or, if you’re already a client, simply set them aside during your next cleaning visit.

Our team will gladly collect them and ensure they’re donated to one of our trusted local partners through the Bags for Dignity initiative.

Together, we can make moving a little easier, and a lot more dignified, for children in our community.

Supporting Children with Autism

At Salt & Citrus Cleaning Co., supporting families affected by autism is deeply personal to us. Natalie’s oldest son has autism, and several of our team members also have children on the spectrum, making this cause one that’s close to our hearts.

Each year, we proudly volunteer with the Hang Tough Foundation, a local organization that provides essential resources, encouragement, and events for children with special needs and their families. From lending a hand at community gatherings to participating in awareness initiatives, our team is committed to spreading understanding, acceptance, and support.

Giving back through Hang Tough isn’t just community service,  it’s a reflection of who we are: compassionate, connected, and dedicated to making a difference for families like ours.

Bags for Dignity

At Salt & Citrus Cleaning Co. Jacksonville, we believe every child deserves to feel respected, safe, and valued — especially children entering or navigating the foster-care system. That’s why we proudly support the “Bags for Dignity” initiative, which collects lightly used or new duffle bags, suitcases, backpacks, and even durable bags that often get misused as makeshift trash bags. These bags are then provided to children who may otherwise carry their belongings in black plastic trash bags when moving between homes.

By offering a real bag, not a trash bag, we’re helping give these children a tangible symbol of dignity, stability, and self-worth during what can be a difficult transition. Bags like these are more than just containers: they send the message that the child and their belongings matter.

Through our collection efforts, we partner with local agencies and nonprofits to ensure every donated bag goes where it’s needed. We’re honored to play a part in transforming a moment of upheaval into one of hope, comfort, and respect.

Our Story

I grew up watching my mom, Kim, pour her heart into helping others through cleaning. As a wife and proud mother of three, she first began cleaning as a stay-at-home mom, managing the house and all its daily chores. She quickly realized how demanding and time-consuming it can be to keep a home clean and organized, especially for busy families and professionals. That realization inspired her to start her first cleaning business, with a mission to give people peace of mind and more time to enjoy what matters most.

When she decided to move from Central Florida to be closer to her children and grandchildren, I helped her bring that vision to life, handling the digital, branding, and marketing side of the business to help it grow. My background in marketing and business development allowed me to build the systems, processes, and online presence that helped the business thrive.

After years of leading the company together, my mom chose to retire to spend more time caring for her grandchildren, and I proudly stepped in to carry on the legacy we built. Having spent summers cleaning with her during high school and while attending college at FSU, I understand both the hard work and the heart behind this business.

Today, I lead Salt & Citrus Cleaning Co. Jacksonville with the same purpose my mom started it with, to provide dependable, high-quality cleaning services that make life easier for others. From recurring residential cleanings and deep cleans to move-in and move-out services, our mission remains simple: to create less mess and less stress for every home we touch.

I spent summers during high school cleaning alongside my mom, learning the value of hard work and the importance of treating every home with care. After graduating, I pursued a 12-year career in marketing, building the skills and experience that would one day help grow the family business. When the time came for my mom to step back, I took the opportunity to carry her vision forward.

Today, I’m proud to lead Salt & Citrus Cleaning Co. Jacksonville with the same passion she started it with, providing dependable, high-quality cleaning services that make life easier for our clients. From recurring cleanings and deep cleans to move-in and move-out services, our goal remains the same: to create less mess and less stress for every home we touch.
